The first question they will ask is which gearbox do you have as the C4 Picasso was fitted with either a proper auto box, or a piloted semi-automatic EGS box. The full auto box was only fitted to 2.0 diesels, but there was also an EGS version. I had one of those. The 1.6 diesel is only fitted with the EGS box (manual lso available).

Hi all, for the last week or so occasionally my 2007 C4GP 2.0HDi with tradition automatic gearbox will disengage cruise control as the gearbox has a "hiccup" Its more of a judder that I can feel and it normally happens when the car tries to slow down (eg, cruise is on, I've just gone up a hill and the road flattens off, so the motor backs off, that's when I feel a judder and at the same time

The gearbox has been removed at the garage, they have said there are metal bits within the oil and have said i have a choice of three options 1. New citroen gearbox 3k 2. Aftermarket gearbox 1.2k 3.
