Yes, I did have to play quite a lot over the last 36 hours to get this finished. For those of you who are rushing the Skyscale in SotO, prepare to be possibly disappointed. If you finished the new Skyscale acquisition method and are actually able to use the Skyscale, I'd love to hear it. :) I've already placed a ticket with Support.
Simply untrue. Skyscale provides much more control over your descent. The only thing skyscale can't do is plummet like glider or griffon. However,if you miss your mark with glider you can't just fly up a bit and try again like you can with skyscale. using updrafts and leylines to gain altitude much faster than a skyscale
